Guest lecture by Professor Angelika Nußberger from Cologne, Germany

On behalf of the German Law School, we warmly invite everyone interested to a guest lecture by Professor Dr. Dr. h.c. Dr. h.c. Angelika Nußberger M.A. from Cologne (combined with the German Law School diploma ceremony). The event will take place on March 28, 2024, at 1:00 PM in the Faculty Council Chamber. The lecture topic is: „Universalität der Menschenrechte – eine enttäuschte Hoffnung oder ein Wegweiser im 21. Jahrhundert?”.

The lecture will be conducted in German.


Professor Angelika NußbergerProfessor Angelika Nußberger is an international judge at the Constitutional Court of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Member and former Vice-President of the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe, professor of Constitutional Law, Public International Law and Comparative Law at the University of Cologne and director of the Academy for European Human Rights Protection and of the Institute for Eastern European Law and Comparative Law.

From January 2011 to December 2019, she was a judge at the European Court of Human Rights and from February 2017 its Vice-President.
