Grant Seed Money Interreg South Baltic for scientists from our Faculty

We are pleased to announce that the international consortium with the participation of researchers from our faculty won Grant Seed Money Interreg South Baltic as part of the "Nature-Based Wellness Tourism project - New Concept of the Sustainable Development of the SBA". The aim of the main project is to create a framework for cross-border cooperation as part of the recovery of the tourist sector after the record that is the result of a pandemic, through the development based on cultural heritage and natural of pro-health tourism. One of the objectives of the main project is to prepare and remote control of the pro-health services package addressed to people feeling negative health effects after the COVID-19 virus infection. The Leader of the Project is the Klaipeda University and the project manager is prof. Diana Šaparnienė. From the University of Gdansk, the project is coordinated by Prof. Andrzej Powałowski and Assoc. Prof. Maciej Nyka from the Department of Public Economic Law and Environmental Protection Law. This is the second project recently financed from Interreg South Baltic funds, implemented by the scientists from our Faculty.
