International PhD Days 2021 is a completely new initiative in the field of scientific international cooperation at the Faculty of Law and Administration. It is organized in cooperation with our Faculty, the National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) and the Doctoral School of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Gdańsk.
The pandemic thwarted our plans to organize the International PhD Days in a direct formula in April. However, we did not want to give up its organization at all - hoping that subsequent editions will take place in the originally planned formula.
During this year's edition, the participants will be doctoral students from our partner universities in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia as guests and doctoral students from the Doctoral School of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Gdansk (discipline: Law) - in the dual role of speakers and co-hosts.
We are glad that the role of moderators of individual panels has been agreed by scientists from abroad.
We believe that the joint meeting will be an opportunity to establish new contacts and acquaintances, and that the presentations and discussions during the panels will enable the exchange of experiences and knowledge as well as the subjecting of scientific theses and hypotheses to an in-depth, sympathetically critical and constructive analysis - which is one of the foundations of scientific activity .
We wish the participants fruitful deliberations and we hope that the event will be accepted and will become the beginning of a new, respected, international research project at our Faculty.
