We are pleased to inform that on November 21-22, 2022 we have been hosting a visiting lecturer from Mykolas Romeris University in Vilnius, Lithuania, Prof. Ieva Deviatnikovaitė.

Our guest gave lectures at our Faculty on November 21, 2022, on Comparative Administrative Law: History, Evolution, and the Future.

Prof. Ieva Deviatnikovaitė also met with Assoc. Prof. Marcin M. Wiszowaty, Vice-Dean for International Cooperation and Development to discuss the future cooperation between our Faculties – concerning common scientific and didactic events, student exchange as well as scholars and staff mobilities.

fotoDr. Ieva DEVIATNIKOVAITĖ is professor of Administrative Law at Mykolas Romeris University, Faculty of Law, Public Law Institute (Lithuania). Her fields of research are administrative law and legal history. She is an author of textbooks for the students on national and comparative administrative law, of monograph on the evolution of Lithuanian administrative justice system, numerous scientific articles on administrative law and legal history, co-author of several studies and monographs. She had several internships in American universities under Fulbright and Baltic American Freedom Foundation programs, also in several European universities under Erasmus program. In 2021 she received the prize of Pranas Dovydaitis, a prominent Lithuanian interwar lawyer, for her research on interwar Lithuanian administrative law.
