Ms. Paulina Kamberov (PhD student) selected for a research trip to Oxford

wpiaWe are pleased to announce that Ms. Paulina Kamberov, a PhD student supervised by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Michał Gałędek, (Chair of Department of History of Law), was selected by The Institute for European and Comparative Law at the Faculty of Law, University of Oxford, to take part in a four-week Research Masterclass, which will be held in September 2023.

The purpose of this four-week seminar is to support graduate research students working in the Institute’s subjects of European Law, Comparative Law and Competition Law. Participants will be working on research methodology and developing writing and presenting skills under the supervision of esteemed scholars.

It will be a second visit of Ms. Kamberov to Oxford. The first one took place between 15 and 24 November 2022, when she undertook a research trip to Oxford University, funded by NAWA Prom Programme. The goal of the research stay was to collect materials for scientific work in the field of the history of criminal law and the methodology of comparative legal research using the resources of the Bodleian Libraries.

The doctoral student also participated in the Assize Seminar in Cutting-Edge Criminal Law at Corpus Christi College. During the event, the latest issues in the field of substantive and procedural criminal law were presented, and the speakers included representatives of the scientific world and practitioners.
