On September 20, a delegation from Dezhou University in China visited the University of Gdańsk.
The delegation was headed by Prof. Wu Jun, Chairman of the School Council. The delegation included: Prof. Yu Jiafeng - Director of Scientific Research Office, Ms. Du Yali - Director of International Exchange and Cooperation office, as well as Deans: Prof. Zhang Jinhui and Prof. Chen Chao.

This week, we had the pleasure of hosting a representative of a partner university from South Korea at our Faculty.

Our Faculty was visited by Mr. Daniel Hwang, Exchange Program Coordinator in the Office of International Affairs of the Sejong University, South Korea.

The talks concerned, among others, cooperation in creating double degree programs and academic exchange of lecturers, administration and students.

We would like to thank the Faculty of Law and Political Science of our partner university - University of Antananarivo - for the latest issues of the scientific periodical “Annales Droit”. 
Both issues are now available in the International Lounge of our Faculty - for our researchers and foreign guests of our Faculty.

We are looking forward to the arrival of the University of Antananarivo delegation to our Faculty - hopefully in the next semester of the academic year starting soon!

On July 8-12, 2024, our Faculty hosted lecturers from partner universities in Australia (University of Newcastle), Barbados (The University of the West Indies), Jordan (Princess Sumaya University for Technology) and South Africa (University of Johannesburg) as part of the last International Week 2024 this academic year. It was also the second Summer International Week in 2024 !

We are pleased to announce that Assoc. Prof. Adam Wiśniewski (Head of the Department of Public International Law) was included in the list of 3 candidates, which the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland forwarded on July 24, 2024 to the Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe .

On Tuesday, July 9, 2024, a Letter of Intent was signed regarding the establishment of official cooperation between the Student Counseling Center of our Faculty (SPP WPiA UG) and the Law Clinic of the University of Johannesburg from South Africa (LC-UJ).

The letter was signed - on behalf of SPP WPiA UG - by the Head of the Counseling Center, Dr. Maciej Mikliński, and on behalf of LC-UJ - atty. Elton Romero Hart - Law Clinic Attorney.

Against the backdrop of the ongoing exam session, this week at our Faculty we are hosting nearly 60 scientists and representatives of academic administration from our partner universities from 15 countries and 4 continents!

We warmly welcome our guests participating in SUMMER INTERNATIONAL WEEK 2024 representing universities from: Algeria, Armenia, Barbados, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Croatia, Czech Republic, Jordan, Kenya, Lithuania, Namibia, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Tanzania.

On June 20, 2024, representatives of the East China University of Political Science and Law from Shanghai paid an official visit to the University of Gdańsk. The meeting with guests organized by the Office of International Cooperation of the University of Gdańsk was attended by representatives of the Office, of the Faculty of Law and Administration, Vice-Deans of the Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Management of the University of Gdańsk.

On May 20-24, 2024, Spring International Week was held at our Faculty - the second, after winter, this time spring edition of this new initiative in the field of international academic cooperation.
Although unfortunately not all announced participants were able to take part in this week's events, over 20 foreign guests came to the Faculty - lecturers, members of the university administration and students from universities from Chile, the Czech Republic, Ghana and Lithuania.
