The RECONNECT project blog has published a text by Assoc. Prof. Tomasz Koncewicz entitled: Capturing the state and “polexiting” the Union – An essay in constitutional pessimism.

In his three-part analysis prof. Koncewicz points out that busy with everyday life, we often lose sight of the processes that take place around us, which can remain unnoticed and incomprehensible. As professor Koncewicz puts it: "focused on the boat, we forget about the journey and its destination". The professor calls for looking at Poland's so-called judicial reforms in a broader perspective, pointing to a process that he calls "unconstitutional capture of the state and its institutions."
