M. Łągiewska's lecture at the international conference in Lausanne: "The Impact of Covid on International Disputes"
On 14-15 October 2021, Dr. Magdalena Łągiewska from the Department of Public International Law participated in an international conference “The Impact of Covid on International Disputes” at CEDIDAC-Université de Lausanne organized in cooperation with the American University Washington College of Law. During the conference, Dr. M. Łągiewska presented a paper titled “New Landscape of Arbitration in View of Digitalization Process”. She discussed issues related to the development of digitization in China in the context of disputes arising from the Belt and Road Initiative (including smart courts and online courts in China).
Professor Steven S. Shapiro and Dr. Shaheezy Lalani invited practitioners, lecturers, arbitration institutions and arbitrators from Europe, Asia, the Americas and Africa to take part in the conference.
