We are pleased to invite on series of guest lectures conducted by visiting our Faculty Dr. Levan Gotua.
Dr. Gotua prepared tree interesting topics which he would like to share during his stay including Commercial Banking Worldwide and locally - permitted activities of commercial banks; corporate structure; forms of capital; banking supervision by the authorities and other essentials of commercial banking; Specific Forms of Banking and Financial Services: Factoring, other forms of Receivables Finance and Financial Leasing and Financial Institutions beyond traditional banking: Microfinance Institutions; Non-Banking Deposit Entities - Credit Unions; Online Lending.

Dr. Levan Gotua is a university professor and practicing lawyer from Tbilisi, Georgia. He currently teaches at Caucasus University and Tbilisi State University and at the same time is a partner of one of the leading Georgian law offices “Begiashvili&Co.”
In his academic activities, Dr. Gotua primarily focuses on Banking and Finance Law and among other publications, is the author of Georgian Civil Code Commentaries regarding bank accounts and banking credit.
The main practice areas of Dr. Gotua at the law office include Banking & Finance; Energy; Corporate; Project Finance; Regulatory.
He is fluent in English, German and Russian languages.
