Scientific visit of Dr Cenuk Sayekti (Airlangga University, Indonesia)

We are pleased to inform that Dr Cenuk Sayekti is visiting our Faculty this week. Dr Sayekti is a guest from Airlangga University, Indonesia which is our partner in Erasmus+ Programme.

Doctor Cenuk Sayekti conducted Story Telling and Financial Law classes (hosting professor: Assoc. Prof. E. Juchnevićius, DSh) classes on 17th of May. Moreover, she conducted a seminar invited by Professor Kamil Zeidler on May 18, 2022.

The program of the professor's visit included also a meeting with the Deputy Dean for International Cooperation and Development, Assoc. Prof. Marcin Michał Wiszowaty, D.Sc.

 

Dr Cenuk SayektiDr Cenuk Sayekti is a lecturer at Airlangga University, Indonesia. She is an assistant professor, teaching administrative law and tax law. Dr. Cenuk has extensively published articles on the area of economic and law issues. In 2016, she received her doctoral degree from Macquarie University, Australia. In 2018, she awarded Fulbright scholarship for Visiting Scholar at Duke University law school, United States. Her mostly current research examining the interplay of carbon pricing and indigenous people’s rights as vulnerable community after the Indonesia Government issued the Economic Carbon Value regulation in the end of 2021. The research focuses on the ongoing debate around the rights of carbon pricing whether it falls under the owner of the land, adat people (Indigenous community), or provincial government.
