Prof. Monika Tomaszewska on a training visit to Tbilisi, Georgia
On June 12-16, as part of the exchange and cooperation carried out under the Erasmus+ Programme, Prof. Monika Tomaszewska (Head of the Department of Labor Law) paid a training visit to Caucasus University, Tbilisi, Georgia. The group of guests also included representatives of the administration of the Faculty of Languages of our University and the Department of International Economics of the University of Economics in Katowice, Poland.

The first edition of INTERNATIONAL WEEK is underway - a new initiative in the field of academic international cooperation at our Faculty.
Visit of the Swiss Ambassador to our Faculty
On June 16, 2023, the Ambassador of Switzerland in Poland, HE Fabrice Filliez, visited our Faculty as part of a courtesy visit.
Mr. Fillez began his diplomatic mission in Poland in September 2022, and previously served as the Swiss Ambassador to the Republic of Singapore, the Sultanate of Brunei, Great Britain and Egypt. He graduated from law studies at the University of Geneva. He obtained a Master's degree in European Law from the University of Brussels.
Visit of the Tashkent State University of Law delegation (Uzbekistan)
This week our Faculty hosts a partner delegation from Uzbekistan: Tashkent State University of Law (TSUL).
The delegation included: Mr. Durbek Makhkamov, The Head of Organizational Control and Strategic Planning Department,
Mr. Bobur Uzakov, Acting Head of the International Cooperation Department, Prof. Nurillo Imomov, The Head of Civil Law Department and Prof. Kambariddin Mehmonov from the Civil Law Department.
Agreement on cooperation between the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Gdańsk and the Monuments Conservators’ Association
On May 15, 2023, at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Gdańsk, the Dean prof. Wojciech Zalewski signed a cooperation agreement with the President of the Monuments Conservators’ Association Jacek Rulewicz.
Working visit of Prof. Miguel Casanova (Universitad Montevideo, Urugway)
This week at our Faculty, we host Prof. Miguel Casanova, Dean of the Faculty of Law, Universidad Montevideo (Urugway). On Monday, our guest met with the Vice-Dean for International Cooperation and Development, Assoc. Prof. Marcin M. Wiszowaty, who officially welcomed him to the Faculty. The talks concerned the principles of future cooperation between the two parties, as well as teaching law in Poland and Urugway, the offer of our Faculty and the principles of its functioning.

Meeting with Ms. Magdalena Zabrocka - Teaching Fellow at the Law School of the University of Aberdeen (Scotland)
Today, our Faculty was visited by Ms. Magdalena Zabrocka, who works at the Law School of the University of Aberdeen (Scotland) as a Teaching Fellow.
We are starting cooperation withthe Law School of this renowned Scottish University, established in 1495.
Ms. Magdalena will give a guest lecture at our Faculty in mid-January on SLAPPs (Strategic Lawsuits Against Public Participation) and anti-SLAPP Laws.
