Visit of the Swiss Ambassador to our Faculty

On June 16, 2023, the Ambassador of Switzerland in Poland, HE Fabrice Filliez, visited our Faculty as part of a courtesy visit.

Mr. Fillez began his diplomatic mission in Poland in September 2022, and previously served as the Swiss Ambassador to the Republic of Singapore, the Sultanate of Brunei, Great Britain and Egypt. He graduated from law studies at the University of Geneva. He obtained a Master's degree in European Law from the University of Brussels.

The University of Gdańsk was visited by the Ambassador at the invitation of Prof. Ewa Bagińska - Head of the Department of Civil Law and Assoc. Prof. Sylwia Majkowska-Szulc - Head of the Division of Private International Law.

The infrastructure of the University of Gdańsk Oliwa Campus and attractions such as the Museum of Forensic Science as well as exhibitions at the Faculty of Biology made a great impression on the Ambassador.
