Assoc. Prof. Dr. Michał Gałędek and Ms. Paulina Kamberov at the 7th Biennial Conference of ESCLH in Augsburg, Germany.
On June 21-23, 2023, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Michał Gałędek and Ms. Paulina Kamberov, (Doctoral School of Humanities and Social Sciences) took part in the 7th Biennial Conference of the European Society For Comparative Legal History (ESCLH) in Augsburg, Germany.
Michał Gałędek delivered a paper entitled “National tradition or western pattern? Sources of inspiration for Polish constitutionalism at the turn of the nineteenth century” in the panel “Comparative constitutional history in Central and Eastern Europe: specificity of conditions in the historical development of the region” organized by him, with the participation of: Prof. Lorant Csink (Pázmány Péter Katolikus Egyetem, Hungary), Prof. Manuel Gutan (Lucian Blag University, Romania) and Oleksiy Kresin (National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and University of Lausanne).
Paulina Kamberov and Michal Gałędek delivered also a common paper "The influence of jurisprudence in the making of a criminal law in twentieth-century Poland" in the panel "The role of the judiciary in the making of modern criminal law (1870-1970)" organized by prof. Aniceto Masferrer (University of Valencia, Spain).
Post-conference publications of the panel will be published in "Gdańsk Legal Studies" Issue 2 / 2024.
