2nd Edition of the School of Spanish and Latin American Law with the participation of lecturers from Universities of Alicante, Valencia, Lima and Montevideo.
We are pleased to inform you about the latest initiative of the youngest, but one of the most dynamically operating Foreign Law Schools at our Faculty - School of Spanish and Latin American Law.
The second edition of the School took place last week.
Head of the School, Dr. Małgorzata Węgrzak managed to invite an impressive group of lecturers from Spanish and Latin American universities to participate. Among them were lecturers mainly from the University of Alicante (Spain), the University of Valencia (Spain), National Institute for the Defence of Competition and Protection of Intellectual Property (Lima, Peru) and University of Montevideo (Urugway).
We would like to thank Prof. Julian Lopez Richart, Prof. Llanos Cabedo Serna, Prof. Pilar Hernando Serra, Prof. Fabiola Meco Tébar, Prof. Iván Poza Martínez, Prof. Diego F. Ortega-Sanabria, LL.M., MBA - who came in person to our Faculty from Spain.
We would also like to thank all the lectures who had the online classes: Prof. Guillermo Palao Moreno, Prof. Concepción Saiz García, Prof. Raúl Lafuente Sánchez, Prof. Miguel Casanova, Prof. Claudia Quiñones, Prof. Paula del Val Talens, Prof. Nadia Ávila Gonzales, Prof. Pablo Rodes, Prof. Jesús Verdú Baeza and Abogada Katarzyna Wasowicz.

Last but not least, we would also like to thank the partner of the School, the District Bar Association of Legal Counsels in Gdańsk under the leadership of Ms. Dean Magdalena Witkowska.
In addition to classes with the students of the School, guests from Spain, accompanied by the Head of the School, met with the Vice-Dean for International Cooperation and Development, Assoc. Prof. Marcin M. Wiszowaty to discuss potential fields of cooperation. Prof. Maria Pilar Hernando Serra and Prof. Fabiola Meco Tebar are the Vice-Deans of the Faculty of Law of the University of Valencia.
Works on organizing the next edition of the School has already begun!
This time, in addition to our friends from Alicante and Valencia, we count (also) on the active participation of lecturers from the Faculty of Law of our partner university SEA-EU - the University of Cadiz.
