Our Students completed BiP program on: "Intercultural Communication: Enhancing Public Speaking and Collaboration in English" (Vilnius, Lithuania)

Faculty of Law and Administration students successfully completed an innovative intercultural communication program in Vilnius, Lithuania from May 26-30, 2025, strengthening international academic cooperation and developing essential 21st-century skills. Our students recently participated in an exceptional Blended Intensive Program titled "Intercultural Communication: Enhancing Public Speaking and Collaboration in English" organized by Prof. Edvardas Juchnevicius in cooperation with our partner university - European Humanities University (EHU) in Vilnius, Lithuania.

The program represents our commitment to international academic cooperation and preparing students for global legal practice. The program combined online preparatory phases with intensive on-site activities, creating an immersive learning experience that addressed critical needs for intercultural competence in today's legal landscape.

Students developed advanced public speaking and presentation techniques, active listening strategies, and leadership skills crucial for effective legal advocacy. The program also focused on cross-cultural communication, conflict resolution, and inclusive team dynamics, preparing participants for international legal collaboration. Specialized sessions in academic and professional English included advanced legal writing and participation in debates and negotiations directly applicable to international practice.

The curriculum featured renowned experts delivering content at the intersection of technology, law, and intercultural communication. Prof. Edvardas Juchnevicius explored AI in tax systems from global perspectives, while Prof. Marcin Wiszowaty examined AI, constitutional rights, and digital citizenship in multicultural contexts. Dr. Damian Cyman analyzed AI and global FinTech opportunities, and Mgr Stefan Biedronka addressed AI and societal transformations.

Additional workshops included public speaking techniques by Natalya Mikhailova, effective communication strategies with Angela Dadak, political speech analysis by Dr. Rūta Sutkutė, and legal storytelling methodologies. During the intensive mobility phase, students engaged in hands-on experience through multicultural legal scenarios, case study presentations, cross-cultural role-playing exercises, and team-building activities designed for international legal collaboration.

Cultural activities included guided tours of Vilnius and visits to the Lithuanian Energy and Technology Museum, enhancing understanding of Baltic legal and cultural contexts. This program strengthens academic partnerships within the European Higher Education Area and provides competitive advantages in the global legal marketplace.

Students returned with enhanced intercultural competencies, improved English proficiency, and valuable international networks that will serve them throughout their legal careers. The experience aligns with our Faculty's strategic vision of producing graduates equipped for international legal practice and contributing to global legal scholarship.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our partners and co-organizers from the European Humanities University for their exceptional collaboration in making this program a success!
