Agreement on cooperation between the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Gdańsk and the Monuments Conservators’ Association

On May 15, 2023, at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Gdańsk, the Dean prof. Wojciech Zalewski signed a cooperation agreement with the President of the Monuments Conservators’ Association Jacek Rulewicz.

Every ten years, the Congress of Polish Monuments Conservators is organized, the next one is planned for 2025. Employees of the Faculty expertised with the cultural heritage law are to be involved in substantive work aimed at preparing systemic and legal presuppositions for the debates of the Congress. In addition to this main objective, cooperation related to the protection of cultural heritage is to include, among others, organizing conferences, symposiums, workshops, creating educational programs, creating teams of specialists, submitting topics that could be taken up in student and diploma theses as part of didactic activity.

So far, the Monument Conservators’ Association has signed a similar agreement only with the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University.
