Visit of Ms. Vandanet Hing from the Royal University of Law and Economics, Cambodia
We were honored to host Ms. Vandanet Hing from the Royal University of Law and Economics, Cambodia at our Faculty of Law and Administration. During her visit last week, Ms. Hing delivered a series of engaging lectures on constitutional law for Polish law students and presented a fascinating session on “The Contribution of the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia (ECCC) to the Development of International Criminal Law Jurisprudence.”
Ms. Hing proved to be an excellent ambassador for Cambodia. Her lectures provided valuable insights into Cambodia’s complex history, its unique political system, and its legal framework. Our students gained a deeper understanding of Cambodia’s constitutional and criminal law systems, as well as the broader implications of the ECCC’s contributions to international criminal law.
Ms. Hing also met with the Vice-Dean for International Cooperation and Development, Prof. Marcin M. Wiszowaty to discuss the continuation and expansion of collaboration between our universities. The discussions focused on student exchange programs and joint research initiatives between the faculties.
We sincerely thank Ms. Hing for her insightful lectures and fruitful discussions. We look forward to further strengthening our academic partnership with the Royal University of Law and Economics.
