A working meeting with a delegation from North Minzu University, China, took place at the Rectorate of the University of Gdańsk.

The Faculty of Law and Administration was represented by Assoc. Prof. Dr Habil. Marcin M. Wiszowaty, Vice-Dean for International Cooperation and Development.

The discussions focused on potential areas of cooperation, ranging from student and academic staff mobility to short- and long-term educational programmes and joint research initiatives.

From 19 July to 1 August 2026, the University of Gdańsk hosted the inaugural edition of the Baltic Family Summer School – Future Skills Edition, organised jointly by the Faculty of Law and Administration and the University of Gdańsk International Cooperation and Internationalisation Office.

The Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Gdańsk had the pleasure of hosting Professor Rakesh K. Anand from Syracuse University College of Law, whose visit marked the culmination of another intensive “American semester” at our Faculty.

From 20 to 23 October, a series of seminars devoted to comparative labour law took place at our Faculty. Our guest was Dr Vojtěch Kadlubiec from Masaryk University in Brno. The discussions were attended by students of our Faculty from the labour law diploma seminar and were moderated by Dr Marek Benio and Dr Michał Szypniewski.

On Tuesday, 19 May 2026, another international culinary workshop was held at our Faculty.

Following the success of the workshop in December 2025, when Polish students prepared plov, a traditional Central Asian dish, under the guidance of their Uzbek and Tajik colleagues, this time international students and lecturers prepared dishes from Polish cuisine.

From 12 to 18 April 2026, our Faculty was pleased to host a five-member delegation from the University of Ghana School of Law, led by its Dean, Professor Peter A. Atupare, as part of the International Staff Week at the University of Gdańsk.

At the end of April, the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Gdańsk hosted a delegation from the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The Academy is an elite state higher education institution established by presidential decree in 2022, replacing the former Academy of the General Prosecutor’s Office. Its main mission is to educate and train staff for the Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Students from our partner institution, Tajikistan State University of Law, Business, & Politics (TSULBP), have now returned home after completing their exchange semester at the Faculty of Law and Administration in Gdańsk. They were warmly welcomed back during an intimate ceremony hosted by Professor Sheroz Muminozoda Abdujabbor, Rector of TSULBP, and Professor Rizozoda Tura Rabbim (Turakul Rabimkulovich Rizokulov), Vice-Rector for International Cooperation.
