Students' opinions
My study experience in Gdańsk and at the Faculty of Law and Administration has been unbelievable. The fact of being in a class with all Erasmus colleagues allows you to make friends from different countries, learn a lot by being part of a culture mix and live a unique experience in your life sharing anecdotes and experiences together.
As for the teachers and faculty staff, all of them have been very friendly at all times and have helped us in any way they could (a fact that is very appreciated by a foreigner, who at the beginning, as usual, is a little lost). As for the classes, they were very engaging since they were very active, with continuous participation by the students, exhibitions etc... Also I would like to point out that everyone has adapted to the situation of the COVID very well and quickly , conducting the online classes in a very successful and dynamic way.For all these reasons, I recommend without doubt that every student who has the opportunity to study at this faculty, does so without thinking twice as it is a different and unique experience that will put a mark on your whole life.

My study experience in Gdańsk has been definitely satisfactory, both from the didactic viewpoint meeting extremely well prepared and helpful professors and from the social point of view. Indeed, I was surprised by the cordiality and kindness of all the Poles that I was lucky enough to meet in this marvellous city. Gdańsk is a city as mystical as it is fascinating. I lost count of all the evening walks in the Old Town bathed in the light of its streetlamps. There, you will have the opportunity to taste typical Gdańsk cuisine or simply to have a drink in the many pubs along the streets of the town, always crowded with students. The public transport is extremely efficient, allowing you to reach any part of the Tricity in a short time, including the University of Gdańsk, which is a few minutes away from the train and tram stations. The Faculty of Law and Administration is located in a modern building, within the university campus, and inside you can find a restaurant with very affordable prices, a copy shop and a large library where you can study in almost religious silence. Furthermore, there is an immense green area where you can take a walk to detach from the study for a few minutes. If you are looking for a city where you can study and have fun at the same time, and a cold climate that can temper your character, Gdańsk is for you.

My study experience in Gdańsk has been positive. For example I met a lot of kind and helpful professors. Furthermore, I was surprised by how helpful all the Polish students were. My first degree was in history so I learned a lot about Polish history. I love Gdańsk. It is a city as historical as it is exciting. I lived in the Old Town where I walked and jogged a lot. I tried a lot of typical Polish foods and drinks, for example "pierogi". The public transport is extremely good, being able to reach any part of the Gdańsk in a short time, including the University of Gdańsk. I like the University of Gdańsk because it has a lot of modern buildings. For example the large library where you can study in a quiet atmosphere. If you are looking for a historical city near the sea where you can study and meet good people then Gdańsk is for you.

I will remember Erasmus as a great experience, despite the fact that after 6 weeks of its duration there was a quarantine due to COVID-19. That time was enough to make many great acquaintances, to get to know what studying in another language and with people of another nationality looks like. Erasmus is also a great opportunity to get to know yourself and to search for the answer to the question "what do we really want?". As for the atmosphere, the whole environment (of both teachers and fellow students) was very kind, especially towards someone who was an "Erasmus" student. Despite the fact that in Spain the quarantine lasted two months, I did not feel at all when it passed.

I spent the winter semester of the fifth year of studies in Ljubljana at the Erasmus+ programme. I believe that participating in international academic exchanges is a wonderful experience that teaches independence, develops us linguistically and, above all, allows us to make international friendships and lifelong acquaintances. Slovenia surprised me incredibly positively. What captivated me the most was the amount of green areas, forests, lakes and proximity to the mountains. For fans of nature and mountain landscapes, Slovenia is an ideal destination. Culinary lovers will not be disappointed either. In addition to the opportunity to learn about delicious Slovenian cuisine, thanks to organized "international dinners", I had the chance to taste dishes from different parts of the world. Due to its location, Erasmus in Slovenia also favours numerous travels - during one weekend you can relax on Croatian beaches and stroll through the narrow streets of Italian towns. The capital is small and charming, full of atmospheric pubs by the river, with a beautiful law department, library and castle in the very centre of the city. The way the classes are conducted, the requirement for the student to work independently and present the prepared content in front of the group and the high level of teaching have undoubtedly contributed to such a positive reception of the whole stay. The mobility in Ljubljana is an unforgettable time for me, so I encourage everyone to take advantage of the Erasmus+ programme.

Going to Germany for the Erasmus scholarship at the University of Cologne was a fantastic experience. While studying in Germany I could not only expand my knowledge of the German school of law, but also meet many wonderful people from all over the world and improve my English and German. I can certainly say that it is an experience that changes the way you look at the world.

Going on Erasmus was my plan from the beginning of my studies. After coming back, I can say that the only thing I regret is that I went only for a semester, not for the whole year. During the six months studying at the University of Cologne, I had the opportunity not only to acquire new language skills, but also to compare my studies in Poland and Germany. I made many acquaintances that I hope will last long after my return and I spent time there that I will never forget.
