Guest Lectures by Dr. Silvia Rodríguez-López, University of A Coruña, Spain
We are pleased to inform that we are hosting a visiting lecturer from The University of A Coruña, Spain – Dr. Silvia Rodríguez-López.
Our guest will give lectures on:
- Monday 15th April 11.15 a.m. room 1033: "Current challenges in the implementation of EU law on human trafficking".
- Friday 19th April 9.15 a.m. main Aula: "General principles of Criminal law in Spanish legal culture"

Silvia Rodríguez-López holds a PhD in Law from the University of A Coruna. She is currently a postdoctoral researcher and lecturer in Criminal Law at the University of A Coruna, where she presented her thesis on human trafficking-related corruption. Together with this main line of research, she has also carried out studies on labour exploitation, corporate criminal liability and gender issues related to human trafficking, as well as the use of AI in the criminal justice system. She holds an LLM in “International Law: Crime, Justice and Human Rights” from the University of Birmingham (UK), and has been a visiting scholar at the Max Planck Institute for International and Comparative Criminal Law in Freiburg (Germany) and the Willem Pompe Institute for Criminal Law and Criminology at the University of Utrecht (Netherlands).
