Guest lecture by Visiting Lecturer, Ms. Carmen Vidal Pérez (University of Düsseldorf, Germany)

On 16 October 2024, our International Guest, Ms. Carmen Adelina Vidal Pérez from University of Düsseldorf (Germany) gave a lecture for our law students on: “The Federal Constitutional Court: Role and efficiency of constitutional courts in the protection of constitutional principles”.

The general presentation of the concept of the German Federal Constitutional Court, as well as several of its epochal rulings, became the basis for an interesting and lengthy discussion on the review of the constitutionality of law, as well as the current state of the Polish Constitutional Court and ways to improve it.
