About the Speaker:

Dr. Ivneet Kaur Walia is an Associate Professor of Law at Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab, India, where she also serves as Associate Dean (Academics) and Centre Coordinator for Criminology, Criminal Justice, and Victimology. A distinguished scholar in the fields of human rights, AI governance, and criminal justice, she has been awarded the prestigious Henry Dunant Fellowship and a scholarship by the International Institute of Human Rights in Strasbourg, France. She has also lectured as a visiting faculty member at the Indian Institute of Management, Rohtak, and is a qualified international lawyer (non-practicing) in Canada.
