About the Speaker:
Ilhom Ismailovich Nasriev is a Professor of Civil Law at Tashkent State University of Law, specializing in civil law, business law, family law, and private international law.
He also served as a Professor at the Higher School of Judges under the Supreme Council of Judges of Uzbekistan (2020–2023).
Beyond academia, he has been an Attorney and Director at Bars Himoya Law Firm in Tashkent, as well as a legal adviser for leading financial institutions, including the National Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of Uzbekistan.
His expertise has contributed to national legal reforms, including his role as a member of the working group for drafting the Civil Code of Uzbekistan, appointed by presidential decree.
He has authored and co-authored numerous scholarly articles and legal publications in the fields of civil law, property law, and contract law, contributing to academic discourse and legislative development.
As a member of the scientific seminar at the Academic Council of Tashkent State University of Law and the Academic Council of the Higher School of Judges, he actively engages in legal scholarship and policy discussions. A member of the Chamber of Advocates of Uzbekistan since 2006, he continues to shape legal education and policy through his research, teaching, and advisory roles.
