The lecture explores the principles and mechanisms of constitutional justice, its role in ensuring the supremacy of the Constitution, and the protection of citizens’ rights. The activities of the Constitutional Court of Kazakhstan, including its competence, functions, and specific features of law enforcement, are analyzed. A comparative analysis of constitutional control models in different countries, including the European Union, the USA, the CIS, and Asian nations, is also conducted. Special attention is given to the practice of handling constitutional disputes, the impact of court decisions on the development of the legal system, and mechanisms for protecting human rights in constitutional proceedings.


About the Speaker:
 
Ernur OngdashulyErnur Ongdashuly, MA
is a master of Law and Senior lecturer of Faculty of Law, at the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (KazNU).
In 2012, he graduated from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University with a degree in Law. In 2014, he completed a Master’s degree at the Faculty of Law of the same university, also specializing in Law. Since 2014, he has been working as a senior lecturer in the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law at the Faculty of Law of Al-Farabi KazNU.
He is also a PhD student at the Faculty of Law of Al-Farabi KazNU, specializing in Law. His professional and academic interests include Constitutional law, Theory of State and Law, History of State and law, Administrative law.
