Dr. Goran Georgijevic, a Mauritian citizen, was born in 1979. He completed his PhD in Comparative Contract Law and his LLM at the University of Bordeaux (France). He is currently Senior Lecturer (Civil Law) at the Faculty of Law and Management of the University of Mauritius, where he held the position of Lecturer from August 2019 to February 2023. Before joining the University, he had been working for the Law Reform Commission of Mauritius (2012–2021). He has published four books and more than a dozen peer-reviewed papers on Mauritian Civil Law.
