The nexus between climate change and climate refugees is a proven fact.  The number of climate refugees is increasing day by day, and the progress on legal protection is at a snail's pace. This lecture uncovers the definitional dichotomy that deprives climate refugees of legal protection, highlights endeavors at the international and municipal level to offer legal protection to climate refugees to bring them into the fold of refugees in general, and the way forward. It also delves into the legal recourse available to climate refugees against private and public institutions under Climate change litigation.

Join us to gain valuable insights into the Legal Status of Climate Refugees, presented by an experienced academic with a global perspective.
