Decision of the Minister of Education and Science on the evaluation of scientific activity: very high "A" category for our Faculty!

We are pleased to announce that by the decision of the Minister of Education and Science, as a result of the evaluation of scientific activity for the years 2017-2021, our Faculty was awarded the "A" category in the discipline of legal science

Thus, the Faculty maintained its high position among the entities of higher education and science in Poland, confirming the high quality of research conducted at the Faculty, as well as the real impact that this research has on society and the economy.

It is worth adding that a total of 39 entities conducting scientific research in the discipline of legal science were assessed. Of them, only 2, i.e. 5%, obtained the highest A + category, and only 10, i.e. 26% - a high A category.

“Category A in the discipline of legal science is the result of the joint work of our Faculty's academics.

After all, the philosophy of parameterization under the current Act on Higher Education requires team involvement.

So I congratulate all employees on the high final score - thank you for your work.

We are pleased not only with the high score in the publication criterion (criterion 1), but also excellent assessments of the financial effects of our research and development works, as well as the impact of the research activities of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Gdańsk on the functioning of society and the economy (the so-called criteria 2 and 3).
