THE WUR 2024 by Subject: we are ranked 250-300 in the world!

We are thrilled to announce that in the results of the international Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings by Subject 2024 published yesterday - in the subject of LAW, our University was ranked 250-300 in the World!

Only two universities in Poland were ranked (slightly) higher than us in the subject of LAW.

It is worth mentioning that this was also our debut in THE WUR ranking. LAW at the University of Gdansk has not yet been included in the THE WUR!

Times Higher Education World University Rankings is one of the most prestigious academic rankings in the world.

"The high ranking of THE Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Gdansk makes us very happy" - commented the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. habil. Wojciech Zalewski - "It reflects the systematic scientific and research work that has been carried out by researchers at our Faculty for years. 
It is also the result of our activities in the field of didactics, in the field of cooperation with external partners and the business environment, and of initiatives resulting in a successively increasing number of foreign students studying at our Faculty. 
We are aware that the rankings reflect only a snapshot of the current situation and are not permanent. What is constant is our desire to grow and develop the many scientific passions that we develop at the Faculty. 
I would like to congratulate the entire Faculty community, the academic and administrative staff, as well as the students, without whom the Faculty would not exist. 
I would also like to thank the University Authorities, headed by the Rector Professor Piotr Stepnowski, for all their efforts and support for the Faculty in its uneven struggle to create opportunities for the best possible development."
