Dr. Alaeldin Maghaireh is a distinguished graduate of the University of Wollongong in Australia. Presently, serves as an Assistant Professor of Criminal Law at Ajman University (AU). Prior to joining AU, Dr. Maghaireh held the position of Assistant Professor and Chairman of the Law Department at Prince Mohammad bin Fahd University (PMU) Saudi Arabia. From 2005 to 2014, he worked as a lecturer of Criminal Law at Wollongong University and the Centre for Transnational Crime Prevention (CTCP) in Australia. During this period, he taught courses on Criminal Law and Process, Comparative Criminal Law, Cybercrime, and Understanding Transnational Organized Crime. Additionally, Dr. Maghaireh supervised significant research projects for the Law School at the University of Wollongong and coordinated the Master of Transnational Crime Prevention Tutorial Teaching Program from 2010 to 2012. His extensive expertise lies in cyber criminology and Criminal Law, supported by his prior experience in the Ministry of Public Work and Housing, as well as the First Instance Court in Jordan from 1996 to 2001. Dr. Maghaireh has published articles in both Arabic and English, covering topics related to cybercrime, AI crimes, criminal law, and Shariah.
