Guest Lecture by Atty. Yekaterina Eduardovna Kan (Tashkent State University of Law, Uzbekistan)Atty. Yekaterina Eduardovna Kan, MA
is a lecturer at the Department of Cyber Law at Tashkent State University of Law and a practicing civil, economic, corporate, and family law lawyer.
She is actively engaged in public activities related to the Korean diaspora and serves as a member of the Korean Entrepreneurs Business Club “KORYOIN” and the CIS Korean Business Clubs Union. She also holds the position of Head of the Legal Affairs Committee at the CIS Korean Business Clubs Union.  
Her academic and professional focus includes digital transformation, e-government development, and comparative legal studies. She has conducted research on “Pathways to Digital Transformation: Comparative Analysis of e-Government Development in the Republic of Korea and the Republic of Uzbekistan.” This work examines the history, technological advancements, and strategic approaches adopted by both nations in digitizing public administration. It highlights key achievements, challenges, and cultural, economic, and political factors influencing digital governance.  
Her expertise bridges law, technology, and policy, contributing to legal innovation and digital governance strategies in the CIS region and beyond.
