 Guest Lecture by Dr Bin Li (Renmin University of China and the University of Newcastle, Australia)Dr. Bin Li is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Newcastle's School of Law and Justice, where his research examines the intersection of technology, law, and justice. With over 13 years of specialized expertise in space technology regulation, he investigates how domestic and international legal frameworks should govern the use of space technologies to ensure a safe and secure outer space environment. Dr. Li also explores the application of emerging technologies—including artificial intelligence and blockchain—in justice sector reform, assessing their impact on fairness and dispute resolution processes. His work has achieved significant public impact, including widely-read articles for The Conversation, and he maintains collaborative research partnerships across Australia, China, the USA, and Canada.
