ATTY. ELTON R. HART

Atty. Elton Romeo Hart is At the University of Johannesburg, he dons the hat of Manager Il: Clinic Attorney. As a fervent advocate of Work-Integrated Education, he embeds real-world legal encounters into aspiring lawyers' education. He is keenly interested in Civil- and criminal procedural law in the Anglo-Saxon systems in South Africa and the rest of the world. His role in teaching Applied Legal Studies at the University of Johannesburg imparts practical skills by merging legislation, judgments, and communication with real clients. As a hands-on mentor, he guides and mentor students through drafting legal documents, client representation, and the fusion of theory with practical scenarios. Teaching them to be versatile legal professionals, ready to make a meaningful impact is a personal mission. His commitment stretches beyond academia. As a legal expert on various topics on top news channels in South Africa, he educates the public on legal matters of public interest. He is also a familiar voice on radio channels in South Africa, spreading awareness and legal acumen.
