On Tuesday late afternoon, our Faculty was visited by young lawyers from Germany - law trainees doing their legal training at the District Court in Schwerin (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany).

Practice in court is - just like in Poland - a mandatory element of professional training for law graduates who intend to pursue one of the traditional legal professions.

Students of our Faculty are warmly welcome to participate in the Erasmus+ BIP (Blended Intensive Program):

"Autumn School of Legal Writing and Related Global Legal Skills",

organized by the Faculty of Law of the Masaryk University in Czech Republic,

in cooperation with:

- The University for Continuing Education Krems in Austria

and

- University of Wuerzburg in Germany.

We are pleased to inform that from 21 June 2023 until 23 June 2023 we will host visiting lecturers from the University of Valencia, Prof. Pilar Hernando Serra and Prof. Fabiola Meco Tébar.

Our students from partner Universities in Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, participating in this year edition of the School of International and Advanced Problems of Private Law have started their classes a month ago.

This week they attend classes with Prof. Andrzej Krasuski, expert on privacy protection law, artificial intelligence and new technologies law. Title of the lectures: "Legal challenges of cyber security".

Dr. Magdalena Łągiewska (Department of Public International Law) took part in the Annual Meeting of the Asian Law & Society Association: “Globalization, Technology and Uncertainty” in Hanoi, Vietnam.

In addition to her own presentation, she also had the opportunity to exchange opinions and discuss with leading researchers from Asia.

The international conference was organized at the Vietnam National University, University of Law.

In the upcoming semester, we’re excited to make two of our university courses in data analysis (in English) at the University of Gdansk open for Ukrainian Citizens. If you are an Ukrainian citizen willing to learn this material (see eligibility conditions below), you’re more than welcome to join!

This week, our Faculty hosts two visiting lecturers from the National Aviation University in Ukraine: Dean of the Faculty of International Relations, Prof. Yuriy Voloshyn and Assoc. Prof. Natalia Mushak.

We are pleased to announce that after an 8-year break, the second, updated edition of the publication devoted to Tort Law in Poland has been published.

We are pleased to inform that on November 21-22, 2022 we have been hosting a visiting lecturer from Mykolas Romeris University in Vilnius, Lithuania, Prof. Ieva Deviatnikovaitė.
