The latest book on Labour Law and Trade Unions

The Department of Labour Law together with the Foundation for the Development of the University of Gdańsk kindly inform about the latest publication: "Trade unions in Central and Eastern Europe in thirty years since the systemic transformations".

The book was inspired by the 40th anniversary of the foundation of "Solidarity".

The authors of the volume include renowned scientists from Central and Eastern Europe, representatives of the International Labor Organization and the European Trade Union Confederation, including employees of the Faculty: prof. Jakub Stelina, Dr. Jakub Szmit and Dr. Marta Zbucka – Gargas (editor of the volume).

The publication presents the role, history, significance and prospects of trade unions in the context of the current challenges on the labor market in the area of employment and collective representation of workers.
