Working visit to Tashkent State University of Law

On September 10-18, 2022, Vice-Dean for International Cooperation and Development, Assoc. Prof. Marcin M. Wiszowaty and the Dean's Plenipotentiary for International Cooperation, Assoc. Prof. Edvardas Juchnevićius visited Uzbekistan.

The purpose of the visit was a series of meetings with the authorities, lecturers and students of Tashkent State University of Law (TSUL) - the best law university in Central Asia - on the development and intensification of scientific and didactic cooperation between both universities.

The effects of the visit significantly exceeded the planned effects. During the meetings with the TSUL authorities, the following topics were discussed: the establishment of new, English-language law studies in the double diploma formula, the establishment of the Polish Law Center at TSUL and the Uzbek Law Center at our Faculty, further development and increasing the exchange of students of both universities within various forms of education (Erasmus +, CIE-LSP, International Schools and others ).

Representatives of our Department also paid a visit to the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Tashkent, where they met with the Embassy's charge d'affaire, Mr. Grzegorz Marczak.

We would like to thank the authorities, lecturers and students of Tashkent State University of Law for their warm hospitality as well as interesting, substantive and constructive meetings and talks. We would also like to thank you for the kind reception by the representatives of Polish diplomacy in Uzbekistan. After the visit, we have great hopes for a significant development of our cooperation.
