Exploring New Academic Partnerships: University of Gdańsk Meets North Minzu University (China)
A working meeting with a delegation from North Minzu University, China, took place at the Rectorate of the University of Gdańsk.
The Faculty of Law and Administration was represented by Assoc. Prof. Dr Habil. Marcin M. Wiszowaty, Vice-Dean for International Cooperation and Development.
The discussions focused on potential areas of cooperation, ranging from student and academic staff mobility to short- and long-term educational programmes and joint research initiatives.
Of particular interest to our Faculty is North Minzu University’s School of Law, which provides a natural basis for developing cooperation in legal education and research, including academic mobility and joint educational initiatives.
Based in Yinchuan, the capital of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, North Minzu University is a public university established in 1984, with a distinctive mission connected with education and research in China’s ethnically diverse society. In the 2025 ShanghaiRanking of Chinese universities specialising in education for China’s ethnic communities, it was ranked 8th nationally.
