Prof. Małgorzata Balwicka-Szczyrba and prof. Anna Sylwestrzak co-authored the publication in the International Survey of Family Law 2021 as the only Polish researchers.

The International Survey of Family Law is published by the International Society for Family Law, which is an independent, international and apolitical scientific association researching and discussing family law and related disciplines worldwide. Assoc. Prof. Małgorzata Balwicka-Szczyrba (Department of Commercial Law) and Assoc. Prof. Anna Sylwestrzak (Department of Civil Law) are the authors of the chapter “The Reform of the Civil Status Records Act in Poland and Discussion of Directions of its Amendments”. The research published in this year's International Survey of Family Law 2021 discusses legal challenges in the field of family law in relation to the specificity of the regulation of a given state, as well as in a global perspective.
