Visit of Prof. Maciej Nyka at Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University (USA)
Assoc. Prof. Maciej Nyka, Chair of Economic Law and Environmental Protection at our Faculty, at the invitation of Prof. Jason Czarnezki visited Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University to take part in Pace Haub Environmental Law Program as a 2024-25 Haub Visiting Scholar.
As we can proudly read on the website of the hosting university: "During his visit, Professor Nyka delivered an engaging and insightful lecture on managing natural resources in international environmental law, transitioning from sovereignty to responsibility. His expertise in environmental protection, economic law, and space sustainability enriched our ongoing research efforts and sparked valuable discussions within our academic community.
Haub Law is proud to partner with the University of Gdańsk, marking our first collaboration in this region of Europe. This partnership will enable students from both institutions to participate in exchanges and collaborate on academic projects. We are excited to continue working with Professor Nyka and the University of Gdańsk on critical environmental challenges at the intersection of law, sustainability, and international cooperation. Such collaborations are essential in advancing our understanding and shaping impactful environmental policies".
Thank you for such kind words. We are also very pleased to have established cooperation with the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University. We hope and intend to work to develop our cooperation, so well initiated by Prof. Nyka and Prof. Jason Czarnezki.
