Spring International Week 2025
From 19 to 23 May 2025, our Faculty hosted another edition of the “International Week” series – Spring International Week 2025, which formed part of a broader international event organised by the University of Gdańsk, bringing together 23 participants from 9 countries.
At the Faculty of Law and Administration, we had the pleasure of welcoming guests from four countries and three continents – Europe, Africa, and Asia. Our participants represented partner universities: Vitez University (Bosnia and Herzegovina), University of Montenegro (Montenegro), University of Mauritius (Mauritius), and Tashkent State University of Law (Uzbekistan).
The event featured lectures, workshops, and meetings focused on exchanging experiences and fostering academic collaboration.
The Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Wojciech Zalewski, warmly welcomed our guests. Afterwards, the Vice-Dean for International Cooperation and Development, Prof. Marcin M. Wiszowaty, guided visitors through the Faculty and held discussions on good practices and joint ideas in the field of international academic cooperation.
Representatives of university administration from Montenegro also visited our Faculty’s Dean’s Office. Ms Katarzyna Rynkowska, Head of the Dean’s Office, provided detailed answers to all questions concerning the management of the educational process. The meeting became a valuable opportunity to exchange insights on legal regulations, academic procedures, and innovations implemented in both Poland and Montenegro.
Spring International Week 2025 marked another important step in strengthening the internationalisation of our Faculty and the entire University of Gdańsk.
We sincerely thank our guests for their presence, commitment, and inspiring conversations. We also express our gratitude to the UG Office of Internationalization and Cooperation for their invaluable organisational support, to Dean Prof. Wojciech Zalewski for his constant support of international initiatives, and to Prof. Edvardas Juchnevičius for his dedication to the preparation and delivery of the event.
