Prof. L. Rademacher from University of Kiel, Germany Visits our Faculty

Our Faculty recently welcomed Professor Dr. Lukas Rademacher from Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel for lectures and a discussions on international academic cooperation.

Professor Lucas Rademacher, who holds the Chair of Civil Law, Private International Law, and Comparative Law at the University of Kiel, met with Prof. Marcin M. Wiszowaty, Vice Dean for International Cooperation and Development, alongside Prof. Arkadiusz Wowerka from the Division of Private International Law. The meeting centered on exploring opportunities to strengthen collaborative ties between the two institutions.

Professor Rademacher brings distinguished academic credentials to this partnership discussion. As Co-Director of the Institute for European and International Private and Procedural Law at Kiel University, his research expertise in cross-border legal relations and international family law aligns well with the University of Gdańsk's research priorities. His academic background includes previous positions at the University of Cologne and doctoral studies at the University of Münster.

The discussions focused on developing concrete opportunities for enhanced academic collaboration, including research partnerships and scholarly exchange programs. Both institutions identified areas where their complementary strengths in legal education and research could create mutual benefits for faculty and students.
