Visit of Dr. Shatha Abdul Jalil from Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University (Saudi Arabia)

The Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Gdańsk recently welcomed Dr. Shatha Abdul Jalil from Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University in Saudi Arabia for discussions on international academic cooperation.

Dr. Abdul Jalil met with Professor Marcin M. Wiszowaty, Vice Dean for International Cooperation and Development, to explore opportunities for further development of cooperation between the two universities. The meeting focused on identifying areas where both institutions could benefit from enhanced academic collaboration and exchange programs.

As a criminal law specialist, Dr. Abdul Jalil expressed particular interest in our Faculty's Criminology and Criminal Justice bachelor programme. Her expertise in criminal law provides an excellent foundation for potential collaborative initiatives in this field, including research partnerships, faculty exchanges, and joint academic projects.

Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University represents an important partner for expanding our international cooperation in the Middle East region. The discussions centered on developing concrete opportunities for academic collaboration that would enhance educational experiences and research capabilities at both institutions.

This visit reflects our Faculty's ongoing commitment to building meaningful international partnerships that advance legal education and scholarship. Cross-border academic cooperation in criminal law and criminology is particularly valuable given the global nature of contemporary security challenges and the need for comparative legal studies.

We appreciate Dr. Abdul Jalil's visit and look forward to developing these collaborative opportunities further as we continue to strengthen our international academic relationships.
