Dr Georgii Sibirtsev Strengthens Academic Cooperation with Huế University, VIETNAM
On May 15, an adjunct in the Department of Substantive Criminal Law and Criminology at the University of Gdańsk, Dr Georgii Sibirtsev, participated in an international conference organized at Huế University in Vietnam, delivering a paper titled Critique of Psycho-Psychiatric Expertise in Michel Foucault’s January 8, 1975 lecture at the Collège de France'.
Working and Academic Meeting of the Department of Civil Law with the Editorial Board of the “European Review of Private Law”
On 25 April 2026, the Department of Civil Law headed by Prof. Dr habil. Ewa Bagińska hosted members of the Editorial Board of one of the most prestigious academic journals in the field of European and comparative private law – the “European Review of Private Law”, published by Wolters Kluwer / Kluwer Law International.
Report: Seminar on “The Principle of Judicial Independence”
On 24 March, the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Gdańsk hosted a seminar entitled “The Principle of Judicial Independence”, organized as part of the international project of the Polish-German Foundation for Science entitled “Judicial Independence in Polish and German Legal Doctrine”. The project is being carried out by the University of Gdańsk in cooperation with the European University Viadrina under the leadership of Professor Adam Wiśniewski.
