During the online seminar " Les Séminaires Marques de Boufflers " on March 15, 17 and 19, 2021 as part of the European Day, Assoc. Prof. Sylwia Majkowska-Szulc, DSc (Department of Private International Law) delivered a speech in French entitled "Les apports de la Directive Marques en Pologne". The speech concerned the transposition of EU regulations on trademarks into Polish law and changes in civil procedure in intellectual property matters and the new organization of Polish courts in these matters.

Marcin Michalak, PhD from the Department of European Law and Comparative Legal Studies participated in a debate organized by Robert Schuman Center for Advanced Studies of the European University Institute in Florence.

Marcin Michalak, PhD took part, as one of the panelists, in debate entitled Mutual Trust and the Rule of Law: Behind and Beyond the LM Case, where he presented the speech "The Polish Background to the LM Case: The Rule of Law Challenges to the Effective Functioning of the Mutual Trust ".
 
This online debate inaugurated a series of 3 webinars organised within the framework of the project TRIIAL – TRust, Independence, Impartiality and Accountability of legal practitioners safeguarding the rule of Law under the EU Charter.

International Seminar on Financial Law entitled "The Financial Law towards Challenges of the XXI century"

On December 8th, 2020, at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Gdańsk, albeit in remote form, took place the International Seminar on Financial Law entitled “The Financial Law towards Challenges of the XXI century”. Under the auspices of the Financial Law Review quarterly it was organised by the members of the Faculty of Financial Law of the University of Gdańsk in cooperation with the Centre for Local Government Law and Local Finance Law of the University of Gdańsk.
