"Environmental risk and insurance" - is the title of a new publication, which was published by the Wydawnictwo Uniwersytetu Gdańskiego. The publication is the result of the VIII Conference of the AIDA Polska, the theme of which was "Risk and insurance in environmental protection". The scientific co-editor is Dorota Maśniak, prof.

Assoc. Prof. Maciej Nyka from the Department of Public Economic Law and Environmental Protection Law wrote a chapter for this monograph entitled "The framework of the justice of the earth system in the legal context of the earth system".

An article by a pair of authors - prof. Kamil Zeidler and Mrs. Aleksandra Guss: „The Protection of Cultural Heritage vs. the Right to Private Property: The Extraordinary Case of the Portrait of Dr. Gachet by Vincent van Gogh”. Was published in the Slovakian journal “„Muzeológia a kultúrne dedičstvo”. The aim of the paper is to present the history of the portrait of Dr. Gachet by Vincent van Gogh, whose buyer has decided that after his death it was to be burned along with his corpse.
