Prof. Kamil Zeidler’s lecture at the conference organized at the University of Geneva

At the Faculty of Law of the University of Geneva on February 4-5, 2021, the International Scientific Conference „What prospects for ‘orphan works’? Reflections on cultural goods with no provenance” took place. The Conference was organized by: UNIDROIT and the UNESCO Chair in the International Law of the Protection of Cultural Heritage of the University of Geneva. The University of Gdańsk is an institutional partner, and prof. Kamil Zeidler is an individual partner in the UNIDROIT UCAP research project, within which the conference was organized.

Prof. Maciej Barczewski – a new member of the Editorial Board of "GRUR International - Journal of European and International IP Law"

We are pleased to announce that on January 1, 2021, Maciej Barczewski, Sc.D., head of the Department of Human Rights and Intellectual Property Law will become a member of the Editorial Board of the monthly "GRUR International – Journal of European and International IP Law", one of the oldest and most respected international scientific journals focused on intellectual property law and competition law, edited by the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition and published by Oxford University Press (OUP).

Prof. Tomasz Tadeusz Koncewicz appointed by European Ombudsman to be a member of the Advisory Committee on the Award for Good Administration

Tomasz Tadeusz Koncewicz D.Sc., Head of the Department of European Law and Comparative Legal Studies, became a member of the Advisory Committee on the Award for Good Administration appointed by the European Ombudsman, Emily O'Reilly. Prof. T. T. Koncewicz joined the three-person Advisory Committee. The task of the Advisory Committee is to evaluate and pre-select the best candidates for the Award for Good Administration, awarded annually by the European Ombudsman.
